Mamra almonds, which are considered a premium variety, account for about 4-5% of the total global almond production234. This makes them one of the rarest and most expensive varieties of almonds.
As for Iran, it is one of the major producers of Mamra almonds. and close 90 perecnt of world Mamra Amonds are harevsted in Iran , 2023 Mamra Almod harvest is expected to be less than 2022 in Iran , the affect on the market price is yet to be realized.
